Marilee Fowler, Executive Director
-Evansville Co. & Visitors Bureau
“I have attended Hoosier Hospitality since 2002. Every year I find the educational opportunity invaluable; but, to me the greatest reward is the networking with other tourism industry professionals.
Over the past few years that I have attended, I have been so impressed with the speakers that the Evansville Convention and Visitors Bureau has contracted with several of them to provide their expertise to our local tourism industry.
I would encourage you to attend The Hoosier Hospitality Conference to learn about new industry travel trends, network and socialize with fellow industry professionals and take the opportunity to meet with your local legislators to discuss important tourism industry issues. Since the legislators will be just across the street, please feel free to invite your legislator(s) to join us at The Hoosier Hospitality Conference!”
Leah McMahon, Citizens Mechanical
As a commercial plumbing and heating service provider serving the entire state of Indiana it is often difficult for us to meet with decision-makers and new customers. This was our first year exhibiting at the The Hoosier Hospitality Conference and we found it to be a great way to connect with the state's hotels, park inns, and restaurant decision-makers. The attendees were genuinely interested in learning about our product and service offerings. With this opportunity to talk face to face we discovered several service problems many are experiencing and now we have the opportunity to find solutions that will help them run their business more efficiently and smoothly. The atmosphere of the show gave us great brand exposure and allowed us to network well with attendees.
Josh Plue, Hospitality Director
- Consolidated Insurance Services
The most beneficial aspect of the HHC is the broad array of hospitality contacts that attend. I have benefited greatly from all the relationships that I have started with my involvement in the conference.
I have enjoyed hearing the Lt. Governor give her address every year as well as many of the talented and insightful breakout presenters.
I strongly recommend this conference to anyone who works closely with the hospitality industry. Our company has grown due to our attendance, and we look forward to a long a prosperous relationship in the future.
Randy Ballinger , President
- Walnut Creek golf courses
The Hoosier Hospitality Conference is always a priority on my schedule. I have attended for over 10 years and it has evolved into an industry wide learning opportunity. I especially look forward to learning about new and evolving niche markets and how they might complement our community’s tourism product. As a golf course owner, learning to adapt ideas from other market segments improves my customer’s experience. It may sound simple to give the customer more than he expects, but every year I discover that someone has raised the bar on the expectations. I encourage you to attend and network with your peers, it is time well spent!
